What: Dress up as your favourite bird, or a bird from your imagination by creating your own mask, beak or wings An entire flock of birds can be very loud, so play bird calls as you walk along, or practice making the calls yourself.
Who: A school class, a club group or a Sunday school class are examples of groups to involve in your bird parade. Get a few classes together to get a large group dressed up to really make an impression with lots of colourful costumes.
Where: Walk from your school to your local park to check out the birds. Or walk down a pedestrian street where you're sure to be seen in your spring finest.
Remember: be aware of traffic when you plan your route. Be sure to have enough parents and teachers to keep track of everyone. If you are having an event on city property you many need a permit. You can contact your local media and invite them to see everyone in their costumes.
